Description
  • Support and oversee corporate communications and marketing to include communications/marketing strategy development, content development, and presentations.
  • Plan, develop, and oversee the creation and execution of various strategic communications and multi-media deliverables.
  • Research, write, and edit tailored messages for an array of audiences including internal stakeholders, external partners, leadership, and current and future workforce for federal and commercial clients.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts and key stakeholders to draft and finalize briefings, white papers, talking points, articles, reports, marketing content, outreach, and other materials.
  • Develop innovative ideas to communicate corporate initiatives such as change management, outreach, and workforce development.
  • Coordinate and facilitate team discovery sessions and information-sharing activities.
  • Advise clients, make recommendations, and provide strategic guidance to support the development of marketing solutions.
  • Mentor communications staff.
  • Help manage budgets, schedules, service delivery, and customer engagement for clients.
  • Provide support to identify, establish, and maintain new and existing accounts through strong client relationships.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, and consistent in style, quality, and voice for each user experience.
  • Adhere to standards, best practices, and processes for content creation, quality control, delivery, and content repurposing.
  • Present and sell concepts and ideas effectively to the clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Labor Category Requirements:
  • Based on an understanding of basic concepts, codes less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages
  • Understand basic concepts and write technical copy and coordinate layout and design for various types of documents including operations documentation, user guides and manuals, and technical publications
  • Responsible for maintaining a functioning user-accessible website
  • Supports website planning and deployment
  • Gather technical information, prepare written text
  • Writes documentation regarding the website’s technical requirements, maintains operations documentation, user guides and manuals, and technical publications
  • Applies concepts, develops, tests, maintains, and supports high-performance, innovative web-based applications
  • Responsible for troubleshooting software problems and providing solutions to overcome those problems using the latest technologies
  • Works with management and information technologists to determine specifications
  • Uses a variety of internet technologies, techniques, and tools such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business applications
  • Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as Captivate, MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
  • Maintains website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades
  • Supports graphic design in various formats including but not limited to digital media, PowerPoint presentations, and paper products.
  • Apply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources

Requirements
  • Four (4) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required. 
  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 
  • Four (4) years of additional web development experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
