We are seeking a highly-skilled and compassionate RN to deliver exceptional patient care in the 36-bed
medical trauma unit. In this role you will provide patient-centered direct nursing care, including telemetry

What you will do in this role:
● As a registered nurse in the medical trauma unit you will provide therapeutic care of patients being treated for cardiac, respiratory, renal, and other conditions.
● You will assess acute changes in patients, monitoring and analyzing heart rhythms, interpreting ECGs, noting arrhythmias, and intervening in emergency situations.
● Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, providers, cardiac specialists and patient care staff, you will administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the facility.
● During every shift you will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions utilizing our computerized documentation systems.
● As a part of the clinical team, you will coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team and participate in patient/family education.
● When dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and other customers, you will maintain cultural and diversity awareness, and much more.

Salary range: $31.55 p/hour - $45.07 p/hour based on Years of Experience
Sign-on bonus: $10k - Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis.
What qualifications you will need:
● Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
● Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License.
● 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
● Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification.
