E-commerce Buyer (Fashion, Watches, and Fragrances)
Description
We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Buyer to join our dynamic team. As an E-commerce Buyer, you will play a vital role in purchasing and managing opportunistic buying for our fast-paced e-commerce website. You will be responsible for driving sales and maximizing margins while ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your expertise in analyzing purchases, assessing prices, and monitoring inventory levels will contribute to the success of our online business. In addition, you will build strong relationships with vendors, negotiate purchases, and stay updated on industry trends and opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase and manage opportunistic buying for our busy e-commerce website.
- Analyze purchases, assess prices for sale and markdowns.
- Monitor Open-to-Buy, stock analysis, and inventory levels.
- Provide recommendations for new items based on analysis.
- Network with vendors to source merchandise and negotiate purchases.
- Conduct vendor comparisons and stay informed about market trends and labels.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4-6 years of retail merchandising buying experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in buying goods based on price, competition, and sell-through metrics.
- Strong negotiation and vendor interaction skills.
- Experience with close-out or opportunistic buying is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of merchandising and technical aspects.
- Excellent negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong retail math skills and proficiency in Excel for analysis.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience with Microsoft Excel.
- 7 years of experience in purchasing.
