Job Description:
As a car sales agent at your car dealership, you will play a vital role in establishing and nurturing relationships with new clients who would buy car/suv/trucks from your dealership. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate in a referral partnership with our experienced insurance broker and ensure that your clients get their auto insurance policies seamlessly to complement the purchase of new or used vehicles.
As a car sales agent at your car dealership, you will play a vital role in establishing and nurturing relationships with new clients who would buy car/suv/trucks from your dealership. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate in a referral partnership with our experienced insurance broker and ensure that your clients get their auto insurance policies seamlessly to complement the purchase of new or used vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Knowledge: You should have a basic understanding of how the auto insurance works in Ontario. This would help you to make the car sales at your dealership smoother as well.
- Client Education: Assist clients in explaining the importance of working with a dedicated insurance broker to be able to get a customized solution.
- Referral Generation: Implement strategies to generate a consistent stream of referrals from your car dealerships and work closely with our insurance broker to ensure a smooth handoff of your Car/SUV/Truck is done to your clients.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients visiting your car dealerships, remaining in touch with old clients and ensuring the collaboration remains mutually beneficial.
- Collaboration Building: Identify, approach, and engage with prospects and clients visiting your car dealership to develop good referrals for auto insurance.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a car sales agent/representative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Sound knowledge of auto insurance products and the insurance industry in Ontario.
- Sales and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Willingness to talk to prospects/clients for referring them to our Insurance Advisor for Auto Insurance needs.
