RIBO License:
Must hold a valid Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) license to practice in Ontario. This is a mandatory requirement.
Experience in Home and Auto Insurance:
Strong understanding of Home and Auto insurance products, policy underwriting, and risk assessment. Prior experience in selling personal insurance is highly preferred.
Sales and Customer Service Skills:
Proven ability to sell insurance products, with strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to build trust and rapport with clients.
Self-Motivated and Entrepreneurial:
Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and be driven to meet and exceed sales goals. Must be comfortable with commission-based earnings.
Technology Savvy:
Comfortable using digital tools, CRM systems, and quoting platforms. Familiarity with insurance software and digital marketing tools is an asset.
