Best Virtual Paralegal is accepting resumes for 1099-Freelance Paralegals in multiple states, including Florida, Pennsylvania, Alabama, New York, Georgia, & Illinois, for as-needed work assignments.
All positions are 5 to 20 hours per week/month as needed to start, with the opportunity to grow into full-time assignments for the right person unless otherwise specified below or in an interview.
Duties may include:
- Experience drafting legal documents
- Experience drafting legal documents without templates
- Experience talking to Court Clerks
- Client Communication
- Knowledge of local rules for the state you practice/work
- *5 years or more of Experience working as a paralegal
- *Must have Experience in Estate Planning and Probate
- #1 customer service and results-oriented
- *Discretion and confidentiality
- *Be willing to grow & adapt to fast team environment
- *Use of CRM software, ability to quickly learn new software
- *Experience taking/processing online payments

- Experience Efiling
- Experience drafting discovery
- Experience with Client Communication.
- Knowledge of local rules for the state you practice/work
- *5 years or more of experience working as a paralegal
*Must have experience in Estate Planning and Probate - #1 customer service and results-oriented
- *Discretion and confidentiality
- *Be willing to grow & adapt to fast team environment
- *Use of CRM software, ability to quickly learn new software
- *Experience taking/processing online payments
- *Dedicated work computer with virus protection, VPN, firewall, and professional email
- *Must be available during business hours M-F for client interactions
- *Must sign an NDA, Confidential Agreement, noncompete, and other legal documents
*If you are employed full-time or on contract with another firm, you must provide a written waiver/authorization to freelance with us.
Ideal candidates for all our positions are required to possess specific sought-after qualifications, coupled with a minimum of 5 or more years of experience working in-house as a paralegal with an additional minimum of 2 or more years of experience as an independent contractor (1099) IRS filing status unless otherwise stated in the position.
