As part of our commitment to quality, we are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate individual to join our team as a pet treat kitchen staff member.

Responsibilities
·       Prepare and produce a variety of pet treats using different proteins.

·       An understanding of First In – First Out procedure Ensuring that all prepared items are labeled, dated, and rotated.

·       Arrives to workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work.

·       Operate and monitor baking and dehydrating equipment.

·       Manage and measure ingredients accurately following established recipes and production guidelines.

·       Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process to maintain quality and freshness.

·       Adhere to food safety and hygiene practices.

·       Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including equipment and utensils, following sanitation protocols to meet regulatory requirements.

 
Physical Requirements
·       Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

·       In an 8-hour workday you may be standing/walking for 6-8 hours.

·       Ability to perform the following motions: single hand grasping, fine motor skills, pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, squatting, and reaching.

·       Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, ladders, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

 

 Qualifications

·       Previous experience in food production, preferably in a pet food or human food manufacturing setting with a preference for candidates holding a Food Safe Certificate.

·       Familiarity with baking equipment and food dehydrators.

·       Ability to follow a recipe, strong attention to detail and precision in measuring ingredients.

·       Knowledge of food safety standards.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of our close-knit team.
